My main hobby is working with wood. My work ranges from odd jobs to relatively large carved furniture. I use a lot of different woods, such as lime, cherry, elm, oak and walnut-tree. The goal of this work is absolutely not commercial. Consequently, objects requiring a large number of working hours are only manufactured for private use. However, for small quantities, it is possible to order simple objects, such as hand-made toys out of wood for children for example (see the second part of this page).

Kitchen cutting board in massive ash having a shape of a pig !
The two models presented here are ideal for cutting meat or vegetables and can also be used as a protection surface under a saucepan for example. The thickness of the boards is about 20 mm.

Inverted Torricelli barometer with mercury.
This instrument is provided with an amplifying column of a factor 7, containing extremely stable tinted oil. The production of this precision instrument was limited to 46 examples and the model number 16 is permanently exhibited at the Musée jurassien (historic museum) in Delémont (Switzerland). This carved barometer was generally made of walnut from France or Mozambique or of elm.
